Hayley Daglis Cleary
Hayley is a fifth-year student in the dual Psychology-Public Policy MPP/PhD program. Her research interests include adolescent decision making in legal contexts, juvenile crime, interrogation of juvenile suspects, and police interaction with youth. Her dissertation examines police interviewing and interrogation strategies with juvenile suspects. Hayley received BAs in Psychology and Russian Studies from the University of Virginia in 2004 and an MPP from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute in 2007.

Sarah Vidal
Sarah is a second year student in the Joint HDPP/MPP Program. Her research interests lie primarily within the fields of Psychology and Criminal Justice. More specifically, she focuses on adolescent development and juvenile delinquency. Prior to coming to Georgetown, Sarah worked as a Research Assistant and Interviewer in the Psychopathology and Criminal Justice Research Lab at the University of California- Irvine where she also received her BA in Psychology and Social Behavior and Criminology, Law, and Society in 2006.

Christina Campbell
Christina is a 4th year undergraduate student at Georgetown pursuing a degree in Psychology and Sociology with an emphasis in Social Justice Analysis. Her research interests include adolescent development and she is currently working on her senior thesis, which focuses on the success of juvenile detention facilities in rehabilitating youth. In the future, she plans to work in the juvenile justice field or go to law school. |

Christy is a 4th year undergraduate pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Justice and Peace Studies at Georgetown . Her future plans include developing and teaching a peace education class in El Salvador for young children. |

Lauren is a 4th year undergraduate pursuing a double major in Psychology and Linguistic/Biology at Georgetown. Her future plans include obtaining a PhD in Clinical Psychology. |

Mary Clare Semler
Mary Clare is a 4th year undergraduate pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Her research interests include developmental psychopathology, specifically the long-term effects of early neurobiological development. She plans to attend graduate school in psychology after graduation. |

Jermaine is a 4th year Psychology undergraduate student at Georgetown. His research interests include marriage and familial discord. He plans to pursue a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. |

Natalie Young
Natalie is a 4th year student at Georgetown, double majoring in Psychology and English. She focuses primarily on juvenile justice and violence issues
and mentors incarcerated and adjudicated youth in addition to her
class work and research. She is writing her senior thesis on the
history of rehabilitation in D.C.'s juvenile detention centers. She plans to attend law school after graduation. |

Samantha Harvell, Ph.D. (graduate student)
Sam successfully defended her dissertation entitled, "A Developmental Assessment of Procedural Justice: Does Process Matter to Juvenile Detainees?" on April 25, 2008. Following graduation, she served as a congressional Fellow with the Society for Research in Child Development where she worked for one year as a Legislative Assistant on the staff of a member of Congress. She currently works as Senior Director of Early Childhood and Juvenile Justice Policy at First Focus in Washington, DC. |
